Joost - Free online TV - Comedy, cartoons, sports, music and more
Joost, a free TV streaming software by Kazaa & Skype founder Niklas Zennström, is finally available for download to everyone.
Just make sure you have fast internet. On my 512Kbits line it doesn't really work. My guess is that a 1024Kbits/1Mbit line would work.

Stephen Petranek on TEDTalks: 10 ways the world could end
Well exploring the possibilities of world ending scenarios is at least in its abstraction, as Hollywood commonly does, engading and fun but if taken seriously we could minimize our chances of extinction.

Google Acquires JotSpot
JotSpot is a three year old wiki hosting system that has over 2000 corporate customers that enables its customers to share spreadsheets, calendars, documents, photo galleries and other files.
For now it is still unknow how much Google paid to aquire JotSpot. It is very clear how it fits into its service offerings. Personally I am very excieted. I had used JotSpot for a trial period and was very impressed. As a private user their fees were too high for me but now due to Google it will be free of charge.
Google will probably integrate JotSpot into Beta Blogger, Google Documents and possibly Google Pages. With JotSpots' superb functionality and ease of use, I would argue that Blogger will be the best Blog service available. Google Documents would gain much better integration into websites. For example imagine creating spreadsheets and easily publish them on your blog or Google pages without any technical knowledge. In addition there are hundreds if not thousands of add on features that can be used with JotSpot and with their help it will remain very flexibility and power.

Helen Fisher on TEDTalks
Helen Fisher is an anthropologist who has studied gender differences and human emotions for over 30 years.
Many think that men & women are alike but she says we are more like two feet who are dependent on each other with the many similarities and differences. The brain itself is hard wired with big gender differences between men & women. And she talks about what romentic love is all about.
She talkes about 3 basic brain systems used for mating and reproduction.
- Sex drive / Lust (attrack humans to a range of partners)
- Romantic Love (focus the mating energy onto one individual)
- Attachement (tolerate the human being one is in love with)

Ever wonder what the 5th, 6th, 7th ... 10th dimension looks like?
Maybe you have the same difficulty imagining such a high count of dimensions as I do. On Bob Bryanton's website that is promoting his book called Imagining the Tenth Dimension he has a short animated visual explanation of all the dimensions. Click here to go to the website and click on Imagining the Ten Dimensions on the navigation bar to view see and listen to the explanation
